Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Regular price $8.99 10 oz.

Sometimes you need an extra jolt of flavor. Apple Cider is our boldest dressing; perfect for when you're looking for a strong vinaigrette to perk up a dish or match spicy greens.

Why to Buy

  • That Apple Cider Vinegar glow – high in probiotic goodness
  • Versatility – dressing, marinade, dip, or spread
  • Diet friendly - Kosher, Paleo, Whole 30, Keto

This dressing is made with a good dose of (you guessed it) apple cider vinegar, giving it a kick of acidity that is mellowed by the sweetness of the balsamic. It’s packed with health benefits that can do wonders for your body from head to toe. Glam up your roasted veggies, marinade, or stir-fry. Throw this on your kale and you may live forever (this claim is not backed by medical science).

Ways to Style

  • Marinate a pork loin
  • Add to Greek yogurt for potato salad
  • Massage into a kale salad
  • Brush on butternut squash before roasting

Ingredients

Olive Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Balsamic Vinegar, Garlic, Dijon Mustard, Sea Salt.

Produced in a facility that also processes soy, milk, wheat, and tree nuts (coconut)

No need to refrigerate after opening!

One evening when I was living in NYC, I’d prepared an incredible salad – one of those “everything but the kitchen sink” bonanzas – for some friends who were on their way over. I was about to dress it when I realized, not only was I out of dressing, but also out of Red Wine Vinegar with which to make more. So, for the first time ever, I deviated from my mother's recipe! I swapped ACV for the Red Wine Vinegar, adjusted the ratios of the other ingredients, and voila, the Apple Cider Vinaigrette was born.

This was a no brainer combo because of the numerous health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar (the list goes on for days), but also, because the flavor gave way to so many new options.

Today, I use the dressing as a complement to any apple dish – pork loin, fall veggies, etc. I also use it as a sneaky substitute for mayonnaise in all the traditional mayo-based salads: chicken salad, potato salad, tuna salad, coleslaw. (Apple Cider Vinaigrette plus plain Greek yogurt = mayo!)
