    Have you ever made these with dried chickpeas instead of canned? Wonder if they would work…..

      I don’t see this working with dried chickpeas, as they’re already rock hard. You can, however, cook dry chickpeas to rehydrate them, and then use them as you would the canned chickpeas in this recipe. Hope that helps.
