Roasted turnips take on an incredible combinations of flavors when roasted and glazed with our Sesame Tahini dressing.

Roasted Turnips with Sesame Tahini
2 pounds turnips with purple tops, cut into 1⁄2 inch wedges
2 shallots, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Half a lemon, sliced
4 sprigs of tarragon
1 tsp dried parsley
1⁄2 tsp salt
1⁄4 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
4 tablespoons butter, cut into small cubes
1⁄4 cup Sesame Tahini Dressing from Dress it Up Dressing
Preheat the oven to 450 F.
Place turnips, shallots, and sliced lemons in a 9 x 13 baking sheet. Lightly toss with coconut oil.
To the turnips add parsley, tarragon, garlic powder, salt and pepper; toss gently to combine.
Place butter pieces over the top.
Roast for about 25-30 mins or until tender. Give it a stir halfway through.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with half a lemon and Drizzle with the Sesame Tahini Dressing. Serve.
